River Hills added to the Archive of American Gardens

We are excited to announce that this summer, River Hills was honored to be included in the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of American Gardens. The Archive preserves important historical and contemporary projects by American landscape architects and garden designers. By collecting photographs and writings, the Smithsonian provides ongoing access to these significant sites to researchers, students, designers, and others. The garden documentation of River Hills is now a permanent part of the Garden Club of America Collection.
